The Challenge- the clients home is located in a modern high rise 6 blocks from the sea, at the base of Mt. Geranias. A two story modern penthouse with rooftop garden & pool planned for final phase, where you can see off in the distance, ancient Acrocorinth, the original Corinthian church of the bible.
The modern elevator entrance delivers visitors directly into the living room. The dual door entrance way to the winding marble steps will be hand crafted to resemble an ancient stone gateway with bronze doors giving the home an eclectic mix of high tech and ancient.

ART- continued
Medium - Heavy oil on canvas
Painting Commissioned 1998 - Dr. Carl H. Stevens, Chancellor Maryland Bible College & Seminary
Before any artist commences a work involving inspired imagery, involving the dimensions of past, present and future, it is incumbent that the artist study and understand the subjects background, history, accomplishments, passions and future aspirations.
Without a 'performance completion deadline' to work under, the imagery and interplay of objects and composition within the painting had been allowed to develop and steep over a period of several years. For that I am grateful.
Inspired, from a moment as Dr. Stevens studied scripture in the early 1990's, the position of the hand, the tilt of the head, the use of "light" emanating from the pages of the Holy Bible reveals the seriousness and source of his motivation, inspiration, direction and drive.
Portrayed as a youthful pastor, painted "in time" perhaps 30 years ago. The aged books behind him depict future successes yet chronicle His ministry goals and visions from "seed thoughts", to realities that ultimately transformed people from every walk of life in over 150 countries around the world.
Imagery of the clock at "one minute to midnight" suggests a last call or urgency of the "12th hour" in biblical perspectives. The effective and creative ministry outreaches ranging from " Bikers to Basketball ", are indeed, a demonstration of Gods power and Love for a dying world.
As an artist who has for over 3 decades, co-labored with many churches and denominations from Catholic & Greek Orthodox to non-denominational Christian faiths, traveling to remote desert missionary stations in the middle east, it has been an honor to capture the numerous challenges, successes, and even the celebrated 75th and 100 year anniversaries of these devoted church groups. In observing this particular church leader, I would summarize simply, by saying...
Led, by a humble & obedient Pastor, who has creatively reached the 'lost' on a global level.... I have appropriately titled this work
