with the help of  our SBA funding through Bank of America, into vibrant growing  business operations located in Baltimore city.

            Alexanderltd.com Video engages in small movie and commercial production work. Staffers currently hold 3 Emmy awards for excellence

 in achievement.

           AlexanderLtd.com Photography  engages in world wide commercial photography including Loews Hotels Monaco, Bahamas, England as

well as high end celebrity weddings from Greece to Finland. This division is also the “fine art ‘ part of the company – as a painter clients can

commission Alexander to paint with heavy oils, portrait masterpieces of Chancellors or loved ones.

             AlexanderLtd.com Automotive division engages in the short term rentals of  military style H1 type  Hummers to radio stations and

businesses wanting to advertise & promote businesses. This division has also re-engineered vintage Rolls-Royces & Bentley’s to late model standards

 making them a new standard for Limousine operators which defy the laws of financial depreciation.

               DNAmax / DNA Security  his latest new venture is under development and has been started for the purpose of accurate and

instant DNA testing for private sector and law enforcement agencies. According to Jay Estabrook,  the earnings potential will surpass

combined company revenues within 6 months of startup.

The nominee has been in business for over thirty-four years. Alexander Companies hold strong moral values which

is why they (Dubmax) are one of only a few  companies that refuses to work with explicit materials. Alexander Companies contributes to many

local charities like Kennedy Krieger, and “The Noah’s Ark Bible Club”.   This organization provides food, activities, and encouragement

to many of Baltimore City’s youth.

Merit Qualifications

 Alexander Karas has been successful in his personal and private life and deserves ‘professional life’ recognition as SMALL BUSINESS PERSON of the YEAR for the following attributes.

 1.      Alexander believes everyone can have the American Dream regardless of how humble their beginnings or where they came from.  He and his parents came from Greece on a cargo class ship-winter 1951 landing in Halifax, Canada. This immigrant family started a new life in a strange country - little money, no job, no language ...just a dream.  Company was birthed in the horse stables of a turn of the century  Baltimore police station with a vision believing in crazy new business ideas

2.      Innovator / Pioneer  - ingenious thinker 2 patent office inventions are now ready for submission

3.      Refined natural talents in music, art, sculpture, engineering, photography, design, editing & production, lighting, and having the creative situational talent in being a good dad to his son, his employees and his clients.

4.      Gives back to society – charitable with donations and his time: University of Maryland Pediatric Aids Volunteer / Photographer.NBA Sportspower, Election Judge, Guest lecturer University of Baltimore, and activist/contributor Baltimore City Festival for Homeless, Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation 75 year and 100 year Anniversary historical photojournalist, Archdiocese of Baltimore music volunteer National Marion Conference, recipient of" A Partner in Education Award " GGCA.

5.      Always desires to make the wheel rounder… improve on engineering, improve on workflow, make it go faster, look cooler, last longer with little regard to the fact that historically there are usually little R&D budgets to do this with

6.      Loves to please. (clients, employees, everyday people, kids, moms)

8.      Believes that if ones personal life at home is out of order, their business life will be out of order

17. Is an  advocate for high national security- believes it is paramount to the financial security of every person, every family and every business in this great nation. Deputized by Governor Parris Glendening and commissioned by Secretary of State John T. Wills as Special Police Officer for the State of Maryland. His years in law enforcement training and achievements in 'specialist' training has enabled him to train members in the international intelligence community.  Represents ALERT, one of the worlds largest law enforcement training organizations in the world, as an International Consultant and was active in “presenting” to military and police training officials before and during the  2004 Olympics in Athens Greece.

18.  Passionate about everything he does OR  just wont engage
